Subject: [highlanderswaps] Origins and GenCon


Greetings to all!.


I have just gotten off the phone with Mike Sager.  You will be seeing
Highlander at Origins and GenCon this year.  Over the next few days I will
be putting together a schedule of tournaments.  I would like to take this
opportunity to invite any and all suggestions for you the players as to what
you would like to see there.  I would like to set a deadline of this Friday
for those suggestions.

Gaming at Origins will begin late Thursday night and then in earnest Friday
morning. I can tell you that the US National Championships will be played on
Sunday for Constructed, Sealed, and Lean and Mean.  If you have not heard,
Adrian Paul has been announced as the guest of honor at Origins.

In regards to MLE edition......We will be running MLE tournaments as well.
These cards may not be played in the Nationals or it's qualifiers, but I
could entertain thoughts of having a separate championship of sorts.

Mike will be going over the proposed rules addendum, and I will notify you
all of that process so that you will have it in place in time for Origins.

Finally, it is my privilege to announce that Mike Sager and his longtime
girlfriend Diane became engaged on St. Patrick's Day.  Congratulations to
both of them.  A wedding date has not yet been set.
